ANYONE can do CrossFit! We really mean that too! Elemental CrossFit’s on-ramp classes start your CrossFit journey off right. In the classes you will learn about CrossFit’s 9 foundational movements, proper technique, CrossFit terminology, nutrition information and what to expect in the CrossFit classes. This is known as “Elements” or on-ramp classes. The Elements classes are taught by Elemental’s CrossFit Level 1 Trainers and are intended for those new to CrossFit or those who may need a refresher. Elements classes meet on 4 consecutive Saturday’s at 10am and last approximately 90 min. During the courses you will be introduced to everything you need in order to join the main classes. (Please note, monthly Elements schedule is subject to change based on participation levels and overall availability)
The typical class structure is like this (subject to change)
10:00am – Sign in and greetings
10:05am – Discuss new CrossFit movement. Includes classroom style instruction, Q&A and time for each person to practice the movement that was introduced. During practice each person will receive individualized feedback to ensure they understand the new movement
10:45 Warm up for the workout
11:00 Workout (includes new movement learned)
11:20 Discuss the workout and the next class
Since each class focuses on something new regular attendance is recommended. If you are unable to attend a session we will work with you to get caught up.
The 4 week Element’s Course costs $120 and is due before the first class.
