ANYONE can do CrossFit! We really mean that too! Elemental CrossFit’s on-ramp classes start your CrossFit journey off right. In the classes you will learn about CrossFit’s 9 foundational movements, proper technique, CrossFit terminology, nutrition information and what to expect in the main CrossFit classes. We call this on-ramp “Elements”. The Elements classes are taught by Elemental’s CrossFit Level 1 Trainers and are intended for those new to CrossFit or those who may need a refresher. Elements classes consist of 4 sessions that last 60 – 90 minutes. The schedule for the classes varies and will be arranged based on with the trainer and student is available. During the classes you will be introduced to everything you need in order to join the main classes.
The typical class structure is like this (example schedule)
6:00pm – Sign in and greetings
6:05pm – Discuss new CrossFit movement. Includes classroom style instruction, Q&A and time for each person to practice the movement that was introduced. During practice each person will receive individualized feedback to ensure they understand the new movement
6:30pm Warm up for the workout
6:35pm Workout (includes new movement learned)
7:00pm Discuss the workout and the next class
Since each class focuses on something new regular attendance is recommended. If you are unable to attend a session we will work with you to get caught up.
The 4 Session Elements Course costs $100 and is due before the first class. This includes 2 weeks of regular classes after you finish Elements.
